Being born without a left hand Lizzy was constantly breaking down exercises and skills until she was able to do them. This is the foundation of the Taiji Horsemanship Training Series which she founded in 2009 at the age of 11. The Taiji Horsemanship training series remains free and entirely online today. It is still used around the world.

While Lizzy has shifted her focus primarily into the showjumping ring, the foundation from Taiji Horsemanship still remains a common theme in everything she does today. The principle of building a strong foundation, from which you can build all of your skills off of. 

Outside of show jumping, Lizzy emphasizes the importance of good horsemanship in all aspects of what we do, from starting young horses, to keeping older horses conditioned, and everything in between. Lizzy works with students of all levels and backgrounds. Lizzy herself is an avid student and committed to continuously, improving and studying the sport.
