July 22 – 28

What a great group of girls came to camp. They were like a group of sponges wanting to learn everything they could to improve their riding skills and learn new things, like trick training, as well. Some of them even got up two hours early every day to help work out our competition horses before the activities began for the day. We all rode in the ring in the first half of each day where Mom and I would work with them on improving their riding skills on their own horses. After lunch, we worked with them on things like trick training, liberty, sensory training, Roman riding and other topics. Everyone was so supportive of each other in everything we did. I and my family really enjoyed having them on the farm.

Special thanks to my grandmother for feeding us all and coming up with some pretty cool crafts and activities for the evenings.
